Here's my latest piece.
Took about 4-5 hours to finish. She's a Kinnaree Girl  .Kinnaree is a Thai mythical creature in Himmapan Forest, the holy wood of ancient creatures. According to the stories, Kinnarees are the girls with wings on their hips, and they like to hang around with other kinnarees, and take a shower at a holy lake once a week. Kinnaree are known that they must took of their wings before they enter the lake, any hunter that could hide their wings before they get back night get a chance to capture one of them.  This Kinnaree i've painted has a model from a Great Horned Owl. I 'd like to design many kinnarees from many kinds of birds. Eagles, hawks, or vulyures could be interesting. PS. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure.
